So last Thursday started out as terrible as the week before, nothing happening all afternoon. Went to M&S to lick my wounds and to pounder what version of QQs to play. Settled on 5 hand TDB because when I'm down thats what I play. Caught my 15 Royal of the year holding 3 [ had bricked 4 to the Royal on 10 hand twice in the afternoon ] and then caught aces with a kicker holding 2aces. Brought me back to even , went to bed. All 4 Thursdays in April I was offered a multiplier of between 3x-50x, all 4 days only got 3xs. Yuk! This past Sunday I was in town for a family wedding [ young man wanted to get married before he is deployed next month. Remember what your POTUS said no boots on the ground, which is pure BS, and fortunately his branch does't abide by the current ROE set in place by the POTUS], Wasn't going to play but found I had $10 worth of bounce back cash to use. Hit the QQ machine at about 12:30 am. Decided to play 5 hand TDB 5 coin instead of the 6 coin QQ. Caught a natural 4oak, dealt full house and then held 2 aces caught the other 2 with a kicker, cashed out $240 on their $10. What was interesting is on 6 straight hands I was dealt QQ chances 10-10-5-5, 8-8-4-4 etc. In my many days of playing I never had more then 2 dealt QQ chances in a row.

It's a top news story in Phoenix as the young man was a 2004 graduate of a local high school. His high school track coach eulogized him as a wonderful young man. He'll be greatly missed.

Nice hits Jeter......I think I am better off giving you my money and allowing you to play it for me, where you get a percentage of the coin in no matter what ..... think about it.I am not a fan of Mr Obama, he is too aloof and is a lousy leader when he is not making speeches.    He also oozes the type of arrogance that people detect and automatically attribute to ANYONE who is "intellectual"......But c'mon, foreign policy wise, the previous administration was a horror show.....Does anyone remember the following historical sequence?:9/11 attacks by AL QAEDAUS correctly invades Afgahanistan to both get Osama & Al Qaeda, and sweep the taliban and all its absurdity out of power.BUT.....while the Afghanistan situation remains unresolved, Osama remains on the loose and the Taliban bides its time in the mountains growing/making Heroin, the BUSH Administration CONCOCTS.....yes, MANUFACTURES a totally BS reason to invade Iraq, kick out Saddam and somehow transform overnight a culture that has existed for 4000 years under various Authoritarian rulerships into a DEMOCRACY!    When Saddam (as bad as he was) was removed, the country descended into absolute chaos DESPITE the TRILLIONS....yes TRILLIONS of dollars spent in Iraq from 2003 to 2009.   Meanwhile, IRAN, the historical FOE of Iraq and Saddam, now becomes a regional DOMINANT POWER because its primary check & balance is GONE.    AND, while Iraq remains a cauldron, AFGHANISTAN meanwhile sinks further into the abysss that we were supposed to fix there, because our military is now so overextended we cannot concentrate enough on EITHER mess to "fix" them.....Meanwhile, THOUSANDS of OUR good brave kids are dead (not to mention HUNDREDS OF THOUSDANDS OF IRAQI and AFGHANISTAN citizens), Tens of thousands US servicemen are now permanently disabled and thus now totaLLY DEPENDENT  on US taxpayers for the rest of their lives (which will include the MOST expensive healthcare).This will be looked upon in 20-30 years as one of the most idiotic, scandalous and morally WRONG epochs in US foreign policy.   Now, having said all that, WHERE MR OBAMA got it wrong is the following:   He inherits this mess, that is true....but hey jack, YOU wanted the JOB, so its yours, now DEAL WITH IT!     Obama stubbornly holds to his timeline and campaign promise to LEAVE IRAQ by 2011......he IGNORES experts who say (correctly) that if the US leaves carte blanche and does not keep a strong force on the ground in IRAQ, all hell will break loose.    Obama ignores this and insists the IRAQI Army, which has received HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS in US AID from 2007 thru 2011 to buy the latest weapons & Technology and PAY its "new" soldiers better than most standing armies, can "police" its own backyard,      WRONG.....While the expectation that IRAQ's  "NEW" army should take care of its own country is indeed reasonable, REALITY is totally otherwise:   A new virulent insurgency, calling itself the ISLAMIC STATE in IRAQ (ISIS) emerges out of the previous mess(es) and, without exaggerating,  COMPLETELY KICKS THE LIVING SHIIITE out of the "new" Iraqi ARMY, despite the fact that Iraq's new army outnumbers them 20 to 1 and has all the latest US gadgetry, compliments of all of us who pay taxes.   Iraq's soldiers FLEE the battlefields on multiple occasions, dropping all that new equipment and VOILA!  Here we are in 2015/2016 .....So again, taking a HONEST  realistic view of things, the current president's decision to FINALLY put real soldiers  BACK on the ground in IRAQ is annoying, but it had to be done.   I think it is awful this poor kid died the other day, but how can people be outraged by this one latest DEATH and NOT be outraged by all that has happened prior?      Hatred for OBAMA is not a rational basis for evaluating foreign policy........

     A good friend of mine's son just returned home ( Special Forces ) and is being debriefed as we speak. You probably won't hear this on the news. They just lost their Sergeant and several wounded. He is OK thank God. I don't even know which theater since that stuff is top secret. Let's just say it didn't happen in the states. I gave him a Guardian Angel coin from Catholic Relief Services to carry with him before he was deployed. Things over there are much worse than we will ever read about and unfortunately worldwide the evil is spreading. Sorry gang I can't even think about vp while writing this.....Nice job though Jeter. Stay well all.
