10x slot dollars Borgata

Post by Carcounter »

Yesterday, Borgata had a 10x slot dollar promotion from 2-7 PM. I knew it would be hard to get on a 9/6 Jacks machine just before the promo started, so my plan was to get on a machine by 12 noon or so, slow play at .50 and the switch to dollars at 2 PM. For a change, everything worked to perfection. Hit a 2K royal the first hour, so had plenty of bankroll for the promotion. Picture on IPhone but too incompetent to know how to download it to this site. Nevertheless, played from 2-5 PM then had to leave for a meeting. Lost $200 playing the dollar Jacks, but checked my slot balances this AM and earned $195 in cashback. Not bad. By the way I have never seen the place so crowded. When I left at 5 PM there wasn't a seat at any VP or slot machine. Anyone else there yesterday?

Outstanding motive to play this wonderful promotion by showing up a few hours earlier to reserve your seat.

At 10x points where cashback rate is 0.1%, it will be 1% during this promotion. Hopefully you played as fast as you possibly could.

Got rewarded with a Royal to put the cherry on top.

Stopped in yesterday to play my $195 CB from the 10x promotion. Played single line 9/6 dollar Jacks and cashed out at $300, so the promotion definitely worked out well for me. Have 4x and 5x coming up soon I believe, but 10x is too good to pass up. Gotta get down early to get a seat though.

Next time there is a 10x promotion, I will take a shot at the 9/6 dollar triple plays. Didn't have enough bankroll last time.

I do not know how fast these machines are

I used the Dunbar Risk Analyzer

For 2000 rounds of 3 play $1 JoB (4 hours at 500 per round)

$1500 will have a 26.48% chance of ruin
$2000 will have a 10.44% chance of ruin
$2500 will have a 3% chance of ruin
$2750 will have a 1.4% chance of ruin

I'd show up early to start putting in the $100 bills in the machine to be ready to play when the promo starts. I'd say a $3000 bankroll will be safe for this.

Opening a casino credit line definitely helps, you will get approved based on the average history of the checking account balance over the last three months.

You guys are spot on. I was thinking between $2,500-$3,000. Not that I would be happy losing that much, but the risk would be worth it.
