So my horrendous summer continues, I usually do not try to keep track of hands but with the dismal results of late I kept track. Yesterday playing 5 hand QQs on a variety of games I was dealt 3 oak 58 times, with 11 of those being aces, did not convert one 4oak or QQ. I'm thinking of giving up my favorite game and exploring other avenues.

Doris I'm going to go out on a limb here and agree with my good friend DB, something is currently amiss at Harrahs, to many of the VP regulars are ALL having the same issues. We use to win, lose, break even, now it's just lose. It's like someone flipped the proverbial switch.

Only game @ Harrah's that played well for me over Labor Day weekend was quarter 3 line DDB Double STP in the Diamond Cove right in front of the cashiers counter.
I stayed for 2 nights @ Hrrah's. First day/night I blew through my bankroll entirely. Bummed out went to Bally's with my $185 worth of earned free play. Won back half my bankroll. Returned to Harrah's for the night. Sat down @ game mentioned above with $200 and played for 7 hours finally cashing out with my original bankroll amount + $400. Was a crazy trip. Nice couple next to me and the Lady playing same game on end machine hit a royal with a 3X multiplier for $3G playing on her partners $60 FP. I hit 2 Royals no multipliers and quite a few 4ok's.

over the past 5-6 years or so, been to a number of east coast casinos. mostly lose, but that is to be expected. but, in the casinos that I have been to more than just once over that time time period, AC is the only place, where I have not come out ahead, on any single trip I can remember.
I believe, not sure, that their casinos have better paytables in general, than Cherokee/NF/tampa/Hollywood/Biloxi/tunica.
prior to the recession and the downfall of AC, went every month for years. again, mostly lost, but sometimes came out ahead and the average loss was much less back then.
I should add, I rarely go to AC anymore.

Thanks for your input notes, if as you say the pay tables are better in AC how do you account for the high amount of loss to win ratio?

as I stated, I am not absolutely sure about the paytable comment. someone will surely correct me.
as I rarely go there, I have little to add. I did go once this year, in the spring. if I recall correctly, over a 2 day time period, playing almost 20k hands, out of the many trips I was dealt, I connected on less than a half dozen. seemed odd to me.
I was assured it within normal expectations, nothing to question.
