Borgata's cards. Borgata's dealer. Borgata's mistake...and compounding it by defaming one of the greatest and most respected poker players ever.....Like card-counting cases, they should only be allowed to ban him if they dare--eating the loss like 99.9% of all players have to do... Banning is what all casinos over the past several years should have guts to do with video-poker players instead of attacking/discriminating against us at/from every angle ....Ironic though, how the more they squeeze, the more they still lose---in the longrun--when thousands of disgruntled vp players go somewhere else. Players, like labor, always get blamed for mismanagement.
A few years ago, a blackjack player was given all his special requests [incl. like $50k freeplay] and took the Tropicana for millions....they simply banned him from playing again...which is their only legal choice [refusing service].

Don Johnson didn't break New Jersey law. Phil Ivey did, imo. They used the guise of "Asian superstition" to defraud the game. Should have Borgata known better? Probably. But casinos do screw up. And when they do without a player's influence, they often will pay out as they should.

One example that comes to mind is when Hollywood Columbus mispaid players when Crazy 4 Poker was brand new to them. The mandatory "Super Bonus" bet, which drives the house edge, was deemed optional by them. They lost over $200k in a couple of days. They didn't demand that money back. They were also fined by the gaming commission on top of that for running the game incorrectly.

And after what happened at Full Tilt Poker, Phil Ivey should never be respected. I was thrilled ~99% of my poker bankroll (over $10,000 total) was in PokerStars when Black Friday hit.

Ivey got ripped off by Fulltilt.....why Jesus Ferguson and associates fell out of favor with the rest of the celebrity player clan.

The point about vman's citizenship was related to his legal defense of the casino industry---did he pay his taxes on bragged-about ill-gotten gains from illegal online poker site????
Also a gray area related to one of webman's online gambling linking rules'
