DaBurglar strike pay is entirely funded by unions, I don't assume anything and, I read between your lines and saw that you considered this to be the only union rife with nepotism and favoritism. After all; didn't you recently say that people needed to read between the lines?

Who cares if strike pay is funded by unions, it was the fact that mcdeavit wanted Icahn to fork over the cost of the strike pay as part of the deal that is the point....Icahn wasn't having it, nor should he have been asked by mcdeavit. Like you keep repeating, it was part of the union deal so why on earth should Icahn be asked to pay that especially given how lousy the union had made life for him with the Taj?

Nothing in between any lines written by me said this was the only union rife with favoritism etc.   But I m curious to know why you somehow feel ALL unions everywhere do have such problems?? Based on what?

Where did I state: " ALL unions everywhere do have such problems??"

If you think this is the only union rife with nepotism you should really rethink that position.

The last sentence of your first post.....Duh.

I really don't think AC can support another casino on gambling revenue alone. They probably won't but they should work the live music angle hard. NJ has a real lack of good venues (most just skip NJ and go to Philly or NYC). The Borgata has done well with this as proof of concept.

I think they should pay attention to the casino bus business. This will work on a daily basis. Bring the bus business back to AC by giving good deals. The Borgata is doing well, but they don't cater to the bus business. AC casino have to give good promotions to deter the customer from staying local and return to AC
