Anybody having this type of trouble or issue?

Post by DaBurglar »

For some really perplexing reason, I have not received any new offers or comps on my Total Rewards account for the three AC properties. When the new year started I logged into TR and found no offers whatsoever, none, nada.

I submitted an email and only received the obligatory initial response of acknowledgement of my email and a promise to look into it and get back to me....as you can tell, two weeks later and I've heard nothing. Some people initially told me the website was being upgraded, but I know now that is not the cause.

I finished the year at the second tier of diamond, and December 2017 alone I earned over 17000 tier credits at the three AC properties. Why would they simply and suddenly stop giving me monthly offers?

I don't know the exact cause, but at least up here, there are constant IT issues and differences in the web site offers, mailers, and what vip services tells you the offers are. The latest example is I had some free play I didn't even know about because it wasn't on the web site. My wife who is a level 2 player got an offer for a concert and I as a level 4 player didn't even get the offer. Assigned hosts and good follow up by marketing departments are becoming a thing of the past unless you are a whale. As a funny side note, my offers at Foxwoods have dried up to a whopping 5 buck a week free play. I had been splitting up my play between Mohegan and Foxwoods up to that point. I wrote an email to Foxwoods since I don't have an assigned host there and told them that they just lost 25k from me which is half of my loss for each of the last 2 years. No response. I also called the host department and talked to the players club people at Foxwoods and went over the scenario with them. No response. On top of that, Foxwoods has dried up my free room offers offering no weekends and only the off site hotel. For February, there are no room offers at all. My personal opinion is they don't want vp players business and love the slot players. It may take them longer hours to get our money, but they get it just the same. Wish I was running the show there. I would court the vp players all day long.

We get minimal offers from the local Harrahs (Ak-Chin) all the time both via snail mail and email even though we have been there in months and don't play there anymore. The only times we have gone lately was to pick up a gift they offered us for some reaon.

I would court the vp players all day long. While it wasn't pertinent to my CET problem, Thanks for sharing this information olds442, it definitely highlights what I also feel is the prevalent attitude and feeling towards Video Poker patrons in Casinos, as well as players in general who are NOT High rollers but who clearly are intelligent players in general......Casinos hate us.   We do not play the stupid, awful games that favor the house by absurd margins (Keno, Certain Table games, and many Slot variants, just to name some....);     We are selective and discriminating on what we play and spend our Bankrolls;   We also are not afraid to leverage the play we do engage in by asking for the best possible deals and comps relative to our total level of play....Casinos would rather us be complacent "sheeple" and just be happy with whatever pittance or scraps the Casino deigns to grant us!    ALso, in general, I have found Hosts at the CET AC properties totally are a phony, disengaged, obnoxious group of so-called "Entertainment and Customer service" specialists.    I mean they really are lousy in all facets of what you'd expect hosts of LArge Casino resorts to be responsible for......in my nearly 10 years of experience in AC, this has been a sad consistent feature of CET AC properties.     Now to be fair, I am not saying that EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY Host that works at or For Harrahs-AC, Ballys-AC or Caesars-AC sucks eggs.....I have met two or three over the past decade who were nice and friendly and at least on the surface seemed concerned for my overall satisfaction with my experience.   But they were the very few among many more who were lousy.   Note:  Again, I am NOT a High Roller, but for 6 of the 10 years I am talking about I was at the very least Diamond first and/or Second tier (when the tiers were implemented).....My requests of the hosts were never ever exorbitant or excessive, in fact I was always merely after a simple comp'd meal (almost always for just MYSELF!)   A few (4 or 5) times I wanted either a room or a room upgrade, and several times it involved things like getting a friend or relative some sort of basic thing (room or food).    Usually it was like pulling teeth, or I felt like I was purposefully made to practically beg, all the while knowing full well my Play level and coin in was more than adequate to justify the request.Your experience, olds442, at the two Native American joints in Southeastern CT  seems to mirror what I've noticed at CET-AC......Well, I guess I will have to go and visit one of the three AC properties to straighten out what in the hell has happened with my offers and my account.    It may be something as simple as the following:  In November of last year I made a request at the CET-AC players desk to cease getting offers via Regular ("snail") mail, and to only send my offers via e-mail or updated on the website account.   Perhaps the clerk who dealt with me went ahead and deleted ALL offers being sent to me, no matter the channel or method!   I cannot fathom any other reason as to why my offers would just stop, given the level of play (both yearly total and my last month or two at CET-AC properties for 2017).....Because my total number of visits for the year was cut by more than half and my total days spent in AC for all of 2017 was maybe a third of previous years, I was able to visit a handful of times with Much larger Bankrolls than usual, which allowed me to maximize the advantage of all those tier credit Bonus levels you can attain (including the infamous "DIAD" pinnacle).....

Perhaps the clerk deleted ALL offers.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Drubbings Decade. I don't want to have your Won/Loss statements. I have never had snail mail. I expect none to be forthcoming, even having attained the lofty Platinum tier. How bad was your DIAD session loss? Sounds exciting, as expected for such risk.

My last five day session last month (Dec 2017) was actually one of the best AC trips I ever had, as I had numerous big hits, the biggest being a $1 Royal for a $4K handpay.    I gave a lot back but still finished THAT trip up about 1500 bucks (I was there from Dec 23 thru Dec 27)   But as I stated in those 5 days I earned well over 17000 tier credits and reward credits, which are clearly visible on my TR statement online.Another really crappy aspect of Caesars is the fact their online customer service question and answer utility is a total joke.    For a corporation still in such massive heavy debt that CET is, I am 100% certain they have cut every possible position they can, or downgraded the salary and expectations of as many positions, all in an effort to cut costs trying to service such massive debt.   How they can just BLOW off an email inquiry from a profitable (for them) player like myself is indicative of how bad their customer service levels have deteriorated over the last several years.I'm still planning only a limited # (5 or 6) of trips to AC this year, 2018....I currently get fairly simple but straightforward offers from the Golden Nugget for comp rooms Sunday thru Friday for three nights at a time once per week, with about 35 - 45 bucks free play at the following schedule:  Monday-Tuesday, $35;  Wednesday-Thursday, $35;  Friday $45, Saturday, $45; Sunday $35.    This was in my February Mailer, so it looks like I am going to make my first trip of the 2018 year to AC sometime in February for 3-4 days, and while I am there I will wheel over to one of the CET properties (or perhaps all three!)  and try to straighten out some of this absurd snafu and oversight on their part.

That's right, I remember how stunned you were about the last trip's miraculous results. I usually ran out of gas at about the 100 TC threshold. I'm usually -$150 to -$200 by then and regret leaving the house. Back to having a good time with paltry play.

Comps have been slashed across the AC spectrum. Everyone regardless of casino affiliation or card color is experiencing the same thing. Maybe they know something we don’t especially with the opening of two new casinos in the spring.

Yes, it will really be interesting to see what the VP offerings are at the 2 new casinos. I do not expect anything other than what we already have. So many good VP machines have been removed from the Borgata for these new slots, I'm wondering when they will all be gone.

Yeah, I'm sure that they will match the prevailing AC norm and call it a day. Nobody is going above and beyond to court the VP crowd. As long as the bar set up remains intact, Borgata is viable. I rarely venture beyond it anyway.
