Congratulation Carcounter ! I was at the Borgata also over the weekend. I didn't do that good on the VP machine. But, I did good at the 3-card poker tables Friday and Saturday. The was losing at video poker and winning at 3-card.Did you see the new 5, 10 ,25,100 play machines over by the Amphoria Lounge. There's a row of 5 machines. JOB are 7/5 @ the lower hands play and 8/5 @ the higher hands play.I can't remember if they have 50 play on those machine.I heard someone hit the Spin Poker there on Saturday for $65,000. Did you hear anything?

Thanks Jim. I saw the 100 play machines, but those paytables aren't good. I stick to the 9/6 JOB multi-strikes and 9/5 Super Double Bonus on the Game Kings over by the spin pokers. Also some dollar 9/6 JOB over by the Amphora Lounge. I have always been very selective about what I play,I can't bring myself to play bad paytables, especially when there are good ones right there.

I gave those 100 play machines a try on Saturday night. During that time a was watching the kids going into the Premier night club. Watching them I was remembering the times when I was going to the Disco night club. Everybody would get dressed up to go out.

If I remember correctly. Under PA. and NJ casino law the machines must payout 83%.

Yep, and as I've said many times before, in AC many people who should know better ( like employees at The casino control comm. And the division of gaming enforcement, and certain casino personel) have stated that slots and VP machines are the same, or that they get lumped together....

Now I know, and you know, the NJ regs make a clear distinction between the types of games and what the rules are supposed to be, but it's at least a little disconcerting when people who are supposed to know the basics of what they are overseeing, don't....

If you want to know what I mean, just go and talk to or ask several ac casino hosts/execs/managers to explain or talk about these issues, or call ( or visit) the offices of the regulatory agencies.

If you've also done the same in Vegas, as I have, you'll also see the tremendous difference in competence and consistency that exists between the two states, with Nevada being far superior.

Yeah. Love how that's within an eyelash! But it's a mystery when the preponderance of payout occurs in the calendar year. They may backload the operation to our collective detriment. I've done well for six weeks, so I'm actually a happy camper.

Spot on....many of us who played regularly in AC over years at a time noticed this strange occurrence where, at certain points during each fiscal year, most of us were either getting killed at the same time or doing very well at the same time, which supports the idea that the state of NJ doesn't really care so long as they get what's required...managing or manipulating cash flow would be useful to a corporation like CET with massive debt.
