Can VP machines be tweaked legally by the casinos

Post by YoVP »

Nothing new here, folks, just a reminder with a wink that our favorite past time can be legally hacked by the casinos. I'm not talking about the obvious reduction of the games' returns posted on the glass such as, JoB from 9/6 to 9/5 for example, but the legal tweaks in the game's algorithms that you cannot see. I'm specifically referring to the Frequency of higher paying hands. Starting with FH's all the way up to 4K's, these hands are taking longer and longer to show up and rescue you from your inevitable demise. And it's legal as long as it is done within certain parameters, which they are. Case in point for example, this past summer when the two new casinos opened here in AC, the VP machines in the High Limits of one of the casinos in particular were raining 4K's and RF's as if there would be no tomorrow. Once the honeymoon of its grand opening was over the rain stopped. I have been playing VP for nearly three decades at various casinos all over the country ranging from nickles to five-hundred dollar hands. I've had astronomical jackpots as well as losses. For the past few years my central nervous system, aka my brain, which is still sharply attuned to these rhythms, has been registering misfires in these machines algorithms. Lots of them. No hysteria here. Adjust your play, keep calm and VP on!

If it's "hacked", it's NOT legal.

In order to prevent the spread of potentially false rumors, if you are going to make claims such as this about the integrity of the games, you must also post some reputable evidence. In this case, that would be sufficient data to measure the events you speak of, or clearly outlining the gap in regulations that would allow such action to be taken by casinos.

Misfires in your central nervous system are not sufficient evidence.

Nor is "I used to win, but lately I've been losing."

Closing topic.
