if anyone knows if there players club is good or gets good mailers please let us know, thanks.golden nugget that is.
:D Yes, they have a players club/lounge where you can eat and drink for free. It is located on the second floor. Overlooking the Chart House and the Marina.
IMO the food is good. They serve lunch & dinner only. No breakfast. :D

So correct about atmosphere. Where can I feel relaxed and at peace even while losing? Caesars has its share of wacky regulars. And both Sat and Sun, one disheveled degenerate asked me for aspirin. Downstairs is dark and hot. Upstairs, poor odds. Bally's is bum central; uprights uncomfortable. I have enjoyed myself at Ocean. With 5K TC, Ocean is my destination! Fun picking NFL on kiosk, too. Friendly employees. GN has bad odds, and DB always got killed there. Harrah's is horrors; always killed on catastrophic carousel. Tropicana is inconvenient and has an unwashed clientele. It's really between Borgata and Ocean, and I like walking to Ocean.

I'll be at the 5x promotion if it's on a weekday. Hard for me to get down on weekends. Had a good run on .25 9/6 JOB multi-strikes yesterday at Borgata. Was holding my own when quads on second, third and top line started popping. Left up $ 700.

Yeeesh, you really do seem to notice, or encounter a lot of "Unwashed" or "Dirty" degenerates no matter where you go in AC. Granted, I hardly go there anymore (compared to 2009-2016) but even during the height of the recession I didn't encounter THAT many homeless unwashed derelicts!

For the record, while I did not have much success anywhere in AC the GN was not exactly worse than many other places....it sure was not any better either, but I wouldn't exactly say I got "KILLED" there.....I never allowed myself to wager too much or for too long there to get "killed", just roughed up a bit!

Gotta Borgata on weekdays, perhaps. Weekend is a zoo. Bar, the preferred area, swamped by obnoxious couples eroding my patience and raising my BP. DB certainly struggled at GN, he concedes. It only takes one memorable bad apple. Security never there when I need them! Hard Rock is loud as all hell. Slot suckers satisfied.
