Ended up costing me $63 and 2 points. It was an experience to watch though how the court works.
Many illegal immigrants without license or insurance were 3 and 4 time offenders, speeding (90 in a 65 zone ) were given the same fine.

The judge even said you will probably drive when you leave the courtroom again.
What is up with that?

About the ticket: let me first say that police officers do not calibrate the unit. only a licensed FCC person can calibrate the unit. All that the officer does is CHECK the calibration. States differ as to how many times the unit has to be calibrated; in Florida it is once every six months. Some states have rules as to how a radar unit needs to be set up. You might want to look at honeywell v. Connicuitt, the Tomaneii Case, as well as a few other cases that involved Radar!Good luck.
