Not political but topical. At Costco and Sam's a few days ago, 2 dozen eggs were 5:99 for two dozen. Who would of thought eggs would be this year's toilet paper. Just wondering what an Ostrich egg omelet will cost at this year's Ostrich Festival

When we were younger, eggs and toilet paper were so cheap that teens would throw them at the houses of their enemies.

Along with what Eduardo said, around Halloween time, the bad kids in the neighborhood would waste dozens of eggs egging cars. Very damaging to paint. Also one local Park was called Toilet Paper Park. Also around Halloween, hundreds of rolls would be thrown up into trees leaving a trail all the way down. What a mess for the City to clean up. On the other hand, in the 1950s, nobody locked their cars or homes. There were no car jackings or home invasions for the most part. Being political for a moment, back then, you would get locked up and the keys thrown away for such crimes. Today, no bail and the perps are released before the cops paperwork is finished. Rap sheets longer than a roll of toilet paper too. I have long been an advocate for more prisons and a National lottery to pay for and staff them. Of course it will never get done.

Even a few years ago, kids would Teepee trees with toilet paper. Then it became a valuable commodity. Today it's eggs. Wonder whats next. Regarding your comments Olds, I will use your favorite, ditto.
