Their brains would command extraordinary values on the market.

Because they've never been used.

Btw, I have to buzz my previous answer. China and India drive retail physical gold demand, but price is also highly (and lowly) affected by trading of gold ETFs and derivatives.

Markets: -0.71%, -1.15%, -1.87%. I was -0.37% today. The Crucifixion of Microsoft was the main event. It was -2.7%, -0.3% after hours. FX woes and the Chinese lock down took the rap. Another dazed day.

Tech, Yeah!
Markets: +1.37%, +2.62%, +4.06%. I was +1.16% today. Rally party from coast to coast. My July 1 partial panic sale has hamstrung my gains. This may dissolve by Friday. The goal is still the end of QT.

Newmont had some adversities that appear to be company-specific.
Company-specificness confirmed. Strong reports after-hours from both AEM and AGI. Both companies are controlling costs and expanding production. Whereas NEM reported $1199 AISC for Q2, AEM expects to stay under 1050 for all of 2022.

AGI is projected to achieve some of the industry's lowest AISCs as mine expansions come online. This is another gold miner that now trades below its 2006 levels (dividend-adjusted).

By my logic, Thursday should be a big day for both stocks.

SWK Stanley Black & Decker misses on earnings, dipped briefly below 100. I may have a go if it breaks 95.

GDP shrinks again. That’s 2 quarters now. White House of course defending. Personally, I think the handwriting is already on the wall. 😬 I wonder when the last time Biden or his crew was in a grocery store!
