CPI 8.3 these rate hikes will crash the market at worst and a melt down is still underway at best.
I'm always skeptical of these violent reactions to government "data."

I've got a VGLT buy order at 65.26.

Stocks are still mostly above their recent lows, so I'm not finding any to buy this morning.

It's simple everyone thought the same with AMZN.
I missed out on AMZN, and I'll miss out on TSLA. Just doesn't fit my eye.

TLT (and VGLT) finished green, forcing me to look elsewhere for buys.

I'm liking Asia. FLJP, FLKR. Will buy FLAX if it has one more bad day. Would buy FLCH China, except I fear retaliation against US-based investors, similar to what's happened with Russia.

TLT is negative this morning.

I think it went green yesterday because the rate hikes this year may crash the economy, forcing rate CUTS next year.

I've been anticipating a roller coaster. Once inflation plays out, I think we get a wave of deflation.

TLT should also be supported by global rate differentials. USA has just about the most attractive yields anywhere when considering credit quality.

And there's a looming possibility of yield curve control from the Fed.

But at current prices, I'm more confident holding gold miners than Treasuries, so I'm unlikely to go big into TLT.

+0.1%, +0.3%, +0.7%. I was -0.04% today. There was a major buy the dip surge at 3:50 PM. These masochists prevented another significant loss.
