GDXJ looks stupidly cheap below 36. (Junior gold miners ETF).

I trade NUGT and it's nearing a buy at 41

The crypto sell off is stopping a rally due to crypto holders on margin need cash

Yes, forced sellers are accelerating the decline, apparently. This seems to happen every time the general market crashes, but then the recovery should be spectacular.

Do you trade crypto? I don't, but I would consider buying at much lower prices. I'll buy anything if it's cheap enough.

Before today I owned a ton of GDXJ.

After today I'll own 2 tons of it.

Grateful for the late day rally. Despair postponed.

Possible dead cat bounce tomorrow. Not buying in yet. I would rather eat a 5 percent upturn. I almost picked a little sqqq this morning. I should have. Would have picked up a quick 5 points and bailed guessing at a late rally today and IMO a dead cat bounce tomorrow AM. If I am right, the bounce hold on for a bit. I would like to hear from the Fed again. If credit tightening doesn’t slow the inflation down and it may not this time, we are really screwed. For now except for PRU its a wait and see. I see PRU dipped below my buy target at 99, but I was cutting the lawn and didn’t have a limit order in. Sure enough, back over 100 byday end. I was looking at the S and P short SH but not enough movement for a day trade. If I get really convinced we are heading toward a depression though, I will buy and hold it.

If I ever tell you I'm shorting, please hide my keyboards. Especially during inflation.

I would much rather take my chances with my favorite longs such as ...

GDXJ:

Image

Look at early 2020. It was bumpin' along, singin' a song. Comfortably above 40 in late February. Then the trap-door opened and GDXJ plunged below 20 by mid-March. Within days it recovered to the 30s, and then some months later broke through 60.

This year the crash began from the low 50s. If it does somehow drop to 20 again, I'll be buying.

Excellent luck. Each index up at least 1.5%. Thursday and Friday really salvaged my mood and portfolio.
