again, check out front page of todays WASH POST for death graph. it is amazing how the death rate has pummeled.

but, one would never know it by the stories and headlines. they keep talking about rising cases but fail to mention that number of people being tested is the biggest reason that more positive cases are being reported.

This is one of my main gripes about the numbers reporting here in Ontario. They never relate the number of "new" positive cases to the number of tests being done as a percentage, nor directly in any other way. Do they not understand that 300 new cases out of, say 2000 tests is a lot different than 300 out of 15000?

Nor, for that matter, do we ever get a report on the actual number of active cases. They report the number of "new" cases every day, and give us the grand total of identified infections. But, they leave it to us figure out, if we can, the total number of ongoing cases, and wether or not that number is going up, or down.

omt, to confirm what you report, i tried googling HOW MANY COVID DEATHS IN USA YESTERDAY. cannot find a single report to answer a simple question.

this must being done on purpose. if folks knew that the deaths in usa had gone from a high of 1-2000 per day to a fraction of that, they might begin feeling it is safer to restart their lives, with precautions. this is exactly the opposite that the left and the media want. they want more fear, worse economy, more reasons to hate trump and more reasons to vote for more government control of one's life. this is a scandal of epic proportions. not reporting the truth!

MSM, revisiting their 2016 fiasco, still believing voters are not paying attention.
