He was a lock for reelection before the chinese virus hit. The dems. saw one last gasp of a chance and have tried to wrongly him for it. With much help from the media and politicians.

A little preamble that brings me to: "ONE REASON to vote for TRUMP". Which happens to be the reason i voted for him in 2016.

but, the fireworks were great.

Compared to the gloom & doom of the week before,it was refreshing and up-beat.

The entrenched bureaucrats,the deep state clingons,and other swamp creatures, heard him loud and clear.

Possibly some of our rabid leftist socialists on this site are in one or more of those groups and should be as irrationally afraid,as they seem to be.

They did not get it in 2016 and have digressed from there.

WHY VOTE FOR TRUMP;
-ISIS is history
-pre chinese virus, employment highest level for nearly every group in america including blacks, women, hispanics, etc.
-multiple stock indices at all time records
-battled china for fairer trade- imposed tariffs
-reduced rules/regs
-made european (nato) countries pay more for their own defense
-has been law and order potus since day one
-rebuilt military
-multiple new and better trade deals with other countries
-pre virus, increased manufacturing jobs
-income increase were greatest for those at lower end of income scale
-donated all his potus income to charities
-beholden to no one
-tax cuts
-usa became energy independent- not dependent on countries that hate us
-confirmed two scotus justices
-record number of judges approved
-greatly reduced illegal immigration
-rebuilt and added to southern border wall
-redid NAFTA, with new deal between usa-mexico-canada

WHAT HAS BIDEN ACCOMPLISHED IN ALMOST 50 YEARS?????? C'MON MAN, NAME SOMETHING!!

His party fought against civil rights legislation and supported KKK members until the wind shifted in the 60's.
As his party lurched to the left he spun his position 180 degrees and hasn't stopped spinning for 50 years.
Look at his congressional record! He has accomplished NOTHING!

just watched a video of someone driving through NANCY PELOSI's district, in the very wealthy city of san francisco. just driving, no commentary, mile after mile, of homeless folks, sleeping on the street. mostly black, remember, DEMS really take care of black americans. not here!

tents, mattresses, piles of garbage, this is their home. entire area full of graffiti and i am guessing needles and drug supplies, and likely...human sewage.

this is NANCY's district, a dem. it looks a lot like many dem run city districts. homelessness, graffiti, garbage, drugs, minorities, crime and sickness.

this is DEM america. is it what you want?

It's not as if these are all black San Franciscans who became homeless due to DEM policies. Homeless people find their way to cities in California, Oregon, and Washington precisely because they DO take care of these people.

A little too much, but that's a different discussion.

Most importantly, they have failed to enforce the law when it comes to issues related to homelessness. It's a real crisis with no easy solution, and it's true that these cities have largely brought it on themselves with their liberal policies. People could be much better cared for if the burden was distributed. But if you're homeless, you're going to go where being homeless is the easiest.

One thing is for sure... all the money they are pouring into addressing homelessness appears to be increasing the problem, not reducing it. I'm sure in the midst of that there are some very positive outcomes for some people. But I don't think the current approach is anywhere near the "correct" one in these liberal cities.

I have one disagreement though,this problem and other social ills like drugs,inner city crime,poverty culture,abortion,family disintegration,and others are precisely because of dem. policies of the 60's & 70's.
The Great Society Programs and The War On Poverty failed miserably and created the conditions that exist today, and will for generations to come.

'enforce the law', that is one of the problems, they have written laws, that entice the homeless to come and don't encourage them to improve their lives. they put in a law, that ALLOWS theft, up to $950, as a misdemeanor. what do they expect is going to happen, these thieves/junkies/criminals are not stupid, they will limit each theft to $950.

on another thread, i mention a DA, near SF, that instructs her prosecutors to consider the "needs" of the criminals, before charging them. when did the 'needs' become part of justice system. some guy 'needs' sex, so, just take it from a woman. why not, he 'needs it.

this is the problem with dem/liberal policies. they sound good, they sound humane, but they only encourage bad behavior.

want to avoid jail time, go to detox center, require some form of work in return...put a carrot at the end of a reward stick. punishment plus incentives.
