the topic of the thread was 'flight from cities', but as usual, BR stole the topic and for the umpteenth time, decided to give us another autobiography of himself. i am sure that there is so much demand, that hard copies will soon be available at amazon.com.

It obviously worked, as our resident snowflake is once more triggered.
It's a beautiful day, and life is good.

getting back to the topic, more stories of flight from NYC. some stats;
-this year, shootings have doubled, from 698 to 1359
-homicide victims 405 compared to 295 last year
-just this week, a couple of innocent folks were shoved onto subway tracks as train was approaching
-some nut even had a working flamethrower out for all to see. he did this, while on top of a city bus.
-robberies are up, assaults are higher and hundreds of thousands folks have/are moving out.
-deblasio blames it on school and business being closed, but he keeps closing schools and businesses. huh?
we were lead to believe, by trump haters, this would all go away, if biden were elected. well, it's pretty much over, but the crime wave continues.
you voted against a law and order guy and instead you got a wus, who is more interested in pleasing his goofy far left base, than protecting hard working, innocent victims. even many dems credit the loss of house seats to supporting 'defund the cops' positions. so, when your property values drop, when crime rises in your neighborhood, when you/a friend/a family member fall victim, don't squawk about it, blame yourselves. you got what you voted for.

Maybe it's just me, but notes seems to be making the case that owning a house in these cities isn't such a great investment. Where have we heard that before?

so far this weekend, with one day to go, 38 folks have already been SHOT in chicago. four are dead.
be very afraid of living in DEM controlled cities. death, crime may very well find you.
b/t/w, anybody seen obama fighting for peace in his hometown. nope, he spends his time in poor MARTHA"S VINEYARD.
DEMS=HYPOCRITES

A wise man once said : A coward dies a thousand times, a brave man dies just once.
I've heard of some strange hobbies. Many think my fascination with tanks is bizarre, but I think endlessly searching the internet for bad news about things you dislike has to be right at the top.
It reminds me of the old man who raged against the tide coming in. How did that work out?

your strange hobby is your fascination with yourself. you keep telling everyone about your life.
finding bad/odd/discouraging news about dems/liberals is not hard at all. front page news....everyday. just not in the liberal msm news, they lie.

a young boy answers the front door at his home. looks through the door window, gets shot in the eye and dies. welcome to the big city of brotherly love.
in LA, homicides are up 25% since 2019. shootings are up 32% since last year. and, they crossed the 300 homicide milestone, not last seen more than 10 years ago.
chicago's weekend tally, 46 shot and 6 dead likely mainly minorities. the dems really care about black and brown folks.
maybe each city will get an EMMY, like cuomo did for covid death leadership.
