more updated info, unbiased;
-per CDC,last 7 days, per 100k residents, cases, NY and CA have WORSE stats than FL.
-per CDC, last 7 days, per 100k residents, deaths, again NY and CA stats WORSE than FL.
what do NY and CA have in common, both have DEM governors, who have abused their power and inflicted great hardship on their citizens. both states also facing huge budget deficits.
have lock downs really worked?

wife and i got our first dose today. no noticeable side effects yet. HOORAY!
the system was set up very well, including already knowing date and time of 2nd dose. paramedics on site, in event anyone had bad reaction. nurses standing by, making sure folks waited 15 minutes after getting shot. military folks checking only scheduled folks were let in.
all in all, i'd say well done.

Congrats to you and your wife notes.
A better choice of words though, instead of saying "making sure folks waited 15 minutes after getting shot" might be " making sure folks waited 15 minutes after getting vaccinated."

ted, you are correct. actually, i had to read it a couple times after you resent it, to catch the phrasing error.

Glad you and yours got your first vaccine shot. I felt fine to after the first one. My first day after the second one was rough, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Minor flu like symptoms. Guess it is pretty common after the second dose. Be well

olds, nothing but a sore left arm, well worth it, as maybe it is the start to a somewhat normal life. i can't wait to get back to losing money at the casinos.
a little vaccine news i read, hope it is accurate, but not guaranteeing it is. please correct where wrong.
england, when giving out Pfizer vaccine is telling folks to get 2nd dose after 12 weeks, not three weeks, as done in the states. if i am correct, i found the reason interesting and debatable. apparently, with the Pfizer vaccine, at the 3 week mark, one has up to 90% effectiveness protection. the 2nd dose gives the next 5-6% coverage.
their reasoning, and not a bad idea, is that it would be better to have many more people with up to 90%, than a far smaller group at 95-96%. seems usa officials are concerned, waiting until 12 weeks, people will not return for 2nd dose.
anyone else read this?
