The $865M proved elusive. Net Day: -$12. Anyone chasing the $970M or fraction of it on Friday? :geek:

I've put down $20 several times on the massive jackpots and never won even a dollar back. Stupid game!

But if I won a billion, I guess I could forgive them.

Unsure at this time. Probably depends on if I end up at the grocery store with $20 in my pocket. Not going out of my way to play. But I might go out of my way to grab a 20 if I'm heading to the store any way.

Let me go see what's in the fridge...

Had no idea it was that high. Not for me, but good luck to any who play.
A dollar and a dream, as they say.....

Two bucks a game these days. Business has been understandably brisk. I went one for thirty on number selection. Quick Pick couldn’t botch it any worse than me, so I’ll do that with $10. The last three draws have been oddly ageist, with all numbers below fifty.

The odds of winning are almost as bad as the paytables at my casino.

True Felix, but somebody always wins eventually. Might as well be you. I really don’t play the lotto, but for these games, I will make an exception and buy a quick pick for everyone in my immediate family. I doubt I would change my lifestyle very much at this stage of the game, but would love to win so I could start my own charity and see exactly where each dollar goes.
Back when I was only about 8 years old in the mid 1950s, there was an early TV show called Queen for a day. Even at that age, I was moved by some of the hard luck stories and the look on the faces of the winners as they won something like a new washing machine.
I think if I won, I would start a mobile veterinarian Clinic or something like that as a start.

Someone from a poor Maryland town did win Power Ball last night for $730M. I only lost $4 on this drawing.

One big one to go. I wonder if I won and gave it all to charity if IRS would forgo their 1/3 cut. I doubt it

A $10,400 RF removes much of that urgency!
