I just don't like starting threads I guess. I do enjoy taking part in discussions, when people are actually looking to do so.

Was I being critical? It seemed like a pretty straight-forward conversation until you decided to get all agitated.

Well, I must admit that I've always thought I was immune to a bunch of stuff, But I tested positive for Covid on Jan 29. Had a cough and felt weak so got tested. My business partner and his wife, who is our office manager also tested positive. Out of quarantine today. I'm 69 with no underlying health issues, other than an affinity for a cold Ketel One Citroen in a chilled martini glass. Don't know how or where I got it, although my partner in the next office was coughing earlier in the week. Was very fatigued and slept a lot last week. Finally started to feel better yesterday and today, but still feel tired and have aches and pains and a cough. At least I now have the anti bodies. Followed safe protocols since this nonsense started. Have to admit it affected me more than I thought it would. Stay safe everyone. Can't wait for the Friday lunch specials at Knife and Fork in AC and sunny60 degree plus weather. Hell I'll take 40 degrees the way things are going lately.
Best of luck to you Car on your recovery. I didn't think that I was immune to it but I was doing all the steps to reduce my chances of catching it. But even with my best efforts I caught it and I just don't know where from.

The only thing we can do is continue to protect ourselves until we get vaccinated.

You seemed to come through very well Ted, thankfully.

So far of those I have known to have it, all have endured well. All were taking the necessary precautions as well, no anti-maskers in the group. Two were hospitalized but they seem to be doing alright now.

I know a lot of families out there have not been so lucky. Hard to believe around 1 in 700 americans has been lost to this in just about a year. Stay safe everyone, we'll get through this soon enough.

i wasn't agitated at all, just a simple question, and could not get an answer.

you were offended/complained, use what ever term you want, when i posted chinese virus deaths, that occurred on biden's watch. absolutely your right to do so.

all i asked was where were your offended/complaint comments, at the time it happened, when BR did the same thing, under trump's reign. i don't recall a single complaint from anyone.

what is the difference?

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. I'm feeling a lot better today. Back to work, but taking it easy. I know I didn't get this at the Borgata from the timeline, but I certainly understand why most of us want to stay out of casinos till we get vaccinated. Need some good winning stories though. I'll probably get down in mid March or so. Best of luck and health to everyone.

Please be careful. My nephew thought he was fully recovered from a very mild case, but just about collapsed the first time he tried to play basketball.

Your nephew is a lot younger than me, but I understand, you are right. I was doing 50-60 pushups every morning before I got this. Tried this morning and did 5 before I felt done.. My 73 year old neighbor said it was 6 weeks before she got back to normal

Lousy weather pattern up here isn't helping. Storms keep coming every 4-5 days apart, sometimes 2 days apart. You still in Bisbee?
