I completely understand OTA. Both my parents were pack or two a day smokers. My sister arrived 18 years after me in 1966. Before that, in 1963, I lost a brother who lived just an hour. When my mom and dad found out they would be blessed with another child ( my sister ) they promised each other they would quit smoking cold turkey in 1965 and they did. The damage had been done to their health by then at ages 41 and 39 and the Drs were pretty sure smoking caused it. Both battled cancer and heart related illnesses the rest of their lives and I spent a good part of mine caring for them. Somehow by a gift from above they both made it until 5 years ago and just last month for ny dad, but from the mid 1960s till then, it was a constant battle with major illnesses. Neither my brother, sister or I ever smoked, but have certainly been exposed throughout life to a ton of second hand smoke. It is starting to affect all of us now in one way or another.

I an praying they don’t bring back indoor smoking. If they do, I’m done. Perfect way to spread these airborne varient viruses with exhaled smoke never mind the stench of it and disgusting behavior that goes with many of the smokers leaving piles of ashes, butts everywhere, and holding the cigarettes at eye level between two fingers so the smoke goes right into your eyes.
I pray that smokers discover how truly BAD cigarettes are for them and they quit before its too late.
As I have previously posted over the past few years, my wife developed and then passed away from lung cancer. We both were convinced that second hand smoke in casinos was the major contributor. So far in Arizona, the vast majority of casinos no longer allow indoor smoking. Hopefully, they will not go back. As far as I am concerned, smokers who Indiscriminately blow smoke around others are as culpable in putting folks at risks as drunk drivers.
It always amazes me when smokers completely forget that non-smokers have rights too. As I like to say: "God didn't create Adam with a Marlboro in his mouth, so who was here first?" And in response I usually just get a nasty blank stare.

It was just reported by Chicago news outlets that there was a shooter at the Oneida Casino just outside of Green Bay, WI. Apparently up to 7 people were shot and the gunman is in custody.

Thoughts and prayers.

I had no idea there was an Oneida Nation in Wisconsin.
The Oneida in NY were one of the only, if not the only, Indian tribe to fight on the American side of the Revolution. For their efforts, they were pretty much displaced from their traditional lands and sent to Western NY.

This month's Arizona Gaming Guide Magazine has a chart listing in-place Covid related health precautions by each Casino in the state as of the latter part of April. The chart appears on page 34. https://issuu.com/arizonagamingguide/do ... ZDE1NzMxOQ

At least the Oneida gunman was killed by police, sparing taxpayers the expense of his trial and subsequent imprisonment. Unfortunately, he killed two and wounded others en route to his own demise.

I hate it when these bastards only get captured or wounded costing us taxpayers millions in hospital bills and incarceration. As far as I am concerned, when they are caught in the act instant trial by execution is fine by me. No bleeding heart liberal on this end. I do want to repeat though, caught in the act of the crime. And the crime would have to be obvious and horrific.

Like kneeling on someone's neck for twelve minutes while the victim is handcuffed?
How about a punk kid not old enough to legally own a rifle shooting a protestor and then killing two people who tried to stop him?

Both those guys were caught in the act. Should they have been executed on the spot?
Who gets to decide?
