Wish I was there Doris. I have a knack I can’t explain with some wild animals. I can talk to the 4 wild bunnies that live in my yard and they will come pretty close to me. Same with the deer that show up here sometimes. Most Feral cats after a couple of visits same thing. I would tell your two if I was there that you are good people and they’d better be nice if they want to continue to get treats. Finally, I crossed paths with a Bobcat in the marsh a few years ago. I just stood still and so did he/she. After a minute I started talking to it in a low soft voice. It listened and just continued what it had been doing, stalking a big rodent I think. I watched for a bit then slowly walked on my way and left it alone. PS…… Our most recent two adopted Feral cats have been gone for some time. They both became loving house pets, but still were hunters outside. Their Vet bills were not cheap. . One of them I was able to teach to hiss on command. That was pretty funny because i might say as a goof…. So what do you think of Joe sitting over there Timmy? And he would hiss!! Or ir Timmy was looking out of the window, I would say….hey Timmy, here comes our mailman and he would hiss. The giant Feral Tom before Timmy actually hissed at and chased the mailman. Think I posted about him before. Butchy. Found a nice home on a big farm that had a rodent problem in the barn. Butchy took care of that.
This is Timmy I think the day we got him from the shelter. The mom who was Feral had died leaving the babies. Luckily, all were adopted.

Yes and this too. Here is a scene in town from a few winters ago. We had a recent ice storm. He wanted us to know there is still beauty even in that. When you view the pics, you will see what I mean.
