They got a little beat up, but you just can’t hold nature’s beauty and its fury back.
These are Lemon Lilies. I should have taken a picture of my back porch stuffed with all of the baskets of flowers from outside including a big 7 foot hibiscus plant. We were just too busy preparing for the hurricane. They are all back out in the fresh air now. Luckily the garden And homes in our immediate neighborhood didn’t suffer any damage.

I don’t know what these are, but they are really pretty. They are mixed in with the salt water marsh grass down the street from my house.

I guess the world was kinda ugly most of the time for this beat up old Tom. The photo is about 20 years old. He is the closest thing that will come yo Razor Blades, not in looks but in keeping band aide and triple antibiotic cream in business. His name was Ghost. I named him that because he would only show up at night. He would just appear and even looks like a ghost. I was the only one he would come to. He would just show up in the yard or in this case hopped onto the back porch which was very rare. We had chicken that night and I guess he smelled it. Anyway, I held piece without bones at arms length. Big mistake. He took the chicken with one swipe and and put pretty deep gouges in three of my fingers too. Then he just split for the night.
