Wow! Hey, back on track and we weren’t even trying. Ok, I will give it one more shot. My favorite little breakfast place is a small family run Spot that I have been going to for many years. The clientele is mostly Hispanic from South America. Really nice people and great food and prices. Soccer is almost always on the tube there and sometimes cheering from the kitchen or patrons. I know this isn’t good for me and I don’t do it often, but where in this day and age can you get a 2 egg sandwich topped with cheese and several slices of grilled ham for $3.50. Great coffee for about a buck fifty too. The place is immaculate and has

nicely spaced tables.

I've never eaten a gyro while watching soccer, but I'd be willing to give it a try.

I have been taking a coated 81 asprin for 30 years. Now they are advising against it at our ages. Not my Dr though. I will continue as long as there are no issues I’m aware of.

I have been taking the 325 asprin for many decades. A cardiolegist told me the aspirin is more important than Metoprolol . Just make sure there is some food in your tum tum before taking the aspirin !!

Here is a good article from the Mayo Clinic on aspirin therapy, pros and cons. Note the caution about stopping taking the daily aspirin. Wonder how many Euro Soccer players take a daily Aspirin. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-con ... t-20046797

That is a good article OTB. The medical community is all over the place on asprin. I didn’t know about the sudden stopping part could be bad. I’m sticking with it unless I’m really convinced otherwise. Yes a little snack in your tumbis important If I’m on the run, I grab a chunk of banana and a couple of saltines. Read up on Lecithin sometime. That’s why I regularly eat eggs, especially cooked at low temperature. Important for Choline. 2 eggs in the morning and I’m good to go till 4 or 5 in the afternoon. I like cereal too, but it won’t keep me going like the eggs will. I bet the Soccer players eat plenty of eggs as a basis of their diet

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force? Never so much as heard of it. Not that that matters. I don't even have any aspirin and cannot remember my last dose. Perhaps put some in my weekend bag to prevent the usual casino gouging.

This is certainly a deal. I could get two Ben & Jerry's (dairy only) pints for $5. A steal, but the fat, sat fat, calories and sugar are ruinous. Fast food deals are constantly offered, especially now with all my apps. It just creates more problems to clear up down the road.
