The price is right. City hates gas prices, too.

Cool. Have never seen that bus. I don’t get to downtown New Haven that often. Now if they could just clean u the crime as well as help the environment!!!! Doesn’t help that they are a sanctuary city on top of it. I heard the latest plan is to give as much as 450,000 each to illegal migrants with children.

The first six months of 2021 marked a 72% increase in confirmed NH shots fired and 67% homicide increase, likely because they were artificially low last year. Not much happening in a pandemic, including crime.

When I turn on the Evening news and see the mug shots of the criminals committing the worst crimes and many times have rap sheets as long as a roll of toilet paper, it is very hard to keep an open mind on who is committing the most heinous crimes. 90% of the time I know what the picture is going to look like before it hits the TV screen. I also know most of the names are going to be made up of names that didn’t exist when I grew up and are almost always spelled phonetically.

I should add if I am a bit surprised who the criminal is in the photo, it will almost always be someone covered in cheap or homemade tattoos, scruffy and gross appearance, and a general look of a drug, alcohol abuser, or both.
One interesting thing is how quote almost normal some of the most infamous serial killers look except for their eyes if you look at them closely.

A lighter Olds Country note:
Where was the casino in Uncut Gems? “Uncut Gems” shot at Mohegan Sun over a half-dozen days in November 2018 and April 2019. If you were at the casino, don't expect to materialize in background; the Sun's security team redirected guests away from areas where filming was taking place.
I falsely remembered it as being AC, so this web nugget was a revelation for me.

The station is soothing for visitors and so well maintained.

Haven’t been inside since 1998, but looks nice from the pics. When I grew up, moving between cars, you could literally jump off the train If you wanted to. Like trains. Just haven’t traveled on one in almost 25 years.
