I guess we for now are the lucky ones up north here. The Hurricane Helene did some extensive damage at the family farm. It is about 100 miles North of Asheville NC which got hit very very hard even though both are well inland. All of the people we know down there are ok, but the storm tore off the barn doors and tin roof and many of the shingles on the immediate neighbors roofs. Power still out in most places nearby. Coming back on hit and miss. I feel for the people who got hit even much harder than we did.

Asheville NC sounds like it got hit hard with flooding. Town was shut down completly.

Glad all my friends and relatives in the impacted areas seem to have fared well. Praying for those less fortunate.
