Bobby Knight is a phsyco.  I vote we send him to Iraq to train their military and become there new ruler.

His methods have produced championship teams and plenty of pro ballplayers.  Sometimes you have to get the player's attention, which is what Bobby was doing in the video now being shown around the world, unfortunately. A tap on the face is not abuse...when I was in school I had plenty of teachers who tugged on an ear or gave me a few fingers on the cheek. It didn't kill me and maybe it made me a better person. When I was in high school the football coach broke his clipboard over a player's helmet to get his attention. Under today's rules, that coach would be behind bars, but back then he was just doing what coaches do to motivate.

You can probably find it at espn.com. He slapped a player on national tv.
With his past and being on national tv he shouls have known better.
He just can't help himself. It is one thing to discipline in private and at practice but not in front of the world.

Thanks, Eduardo.  Good stuff.  The latest incident doesn't look like much to talk about, but those flashbacks were fantastic.
