Last night's CLINT BLACK performance was really great at the 5000 seat, sold out, newly opened COLOSSEUM at Caesar's Windsor Casino. The variety in laser lighting was as outstanding as the performance. Black played harmonica in three numbers, drums during an encore and had written several of the tunes! A new piano player made his debut. Seven members included four guitars. One also played sax and another, fiddle. Black did a fun imitation of Willie Nelson singing. Final and third encore was Eagle's DESPARADO. It appeared the audience was unanimous in loving the performance with a standing ovation! The heated indoor pool under large, high, peaked skylight is refreshing next to a large state-of-the-art exercise room. It seemed we were the first occupants of an amazing new room with plasma TV, wide view of the Detroit river, skyline and roof top/city scape. Freighters were passing every time we looked out the window from the 16th of 22 floors. I consider this a world class, huge casino with super buffet! Everything was perfect about our fun, three day comped getaway except for a four letter word: LOST! Take my advice and start out with quarters, preferably single line instead of 10 play STP quarters and 5 play $, which were going great until they turned on me. OUCH! NEW: One can now use comps at the gift shop to purchase a roll of 20 tunnel tokens for the going rate of $65. and savings of $10. ish. You will learn to appreciate the convenience of these tokens providing you are well-organized and keep them with your passport and Canadian $.Try not to drop them between the car seats or give them out as change! Tunnel $3.75 US or C from Canadian side and $4.75 C. from US side. Perhaps they neglected to change the latter sign. There is no Diamond Lounge or Diamond Line at the box office, only Seven Stars.

Great Marie, now you have gone and made me homesick. I'll have you know that I paid for most of what you are enjoying.

I think she is homeless and just stays at Casinos. Not a bad idea. doesn't need insurance, no taxes, no maintenance. What a life!

I know a couple who lives in Las Vegas during the winter and stays in casinos the entire time. They usually come out in November and stay through mid-March. The rooms are comped as are their meals.
I don't know if I could do this. I think it might get old after a couple of months.

Living in the Vegas area is not a problem. Living and eating completely inside casinos would be something I'd never want to do.

At least not longer than a week! Maybe two. Would be like a two week cruise but landlocked (sort of). Months at a time knowing thats your primary residence? NO! N-O-E! I enjoy visiting when I do go but couldn't ponder staying for a long stretch. Knowing it's paid for would make it more attractive though!
Marie, you're supposed to be the straight one and all us others could throw in the wise cracks! Please obtain permission from Faygo next time.

She is a woman. She has the right to jump around and change pace just to throw the rest of us off and scratch our heads. Something about their chemistry if I recall from my days in medical school.
