Man, I'm conflicted. I currently live in St. Louis and am a Blues fan, but I've lived in Illinois and love Chicago and have friends there (and still listen to WGN radio a lot!) but it just seems wrong to root for the Blackhawks! Plus Coach Q used to coach the Blues and something like 3 or 4 former Blues coaches have gone on to win the cup whereas the Blues have won none.   But I think the Hawks are the lesser of two evils.

I'm a Blues fan and not that conflicted. Tampa cares less about hockey. If they never won a Cup before then I might root for them...but those indifferent fans already won a Cup! Also my g/f is from Chicago, so there's that too...

Wearing my Blackhawks 2013 Cup t-shirt that I bought along with my g/f tonight. I wore it to Ameristar St. Charles on April 15th, the Hawks playoff opener. I got a bit of crap from the security guard for wearing it... But I won about $150 that day...including pulling 4 7s while holding an Ace.

Only Chicago fans' egos are inflated.

2015 - A DYNASTY.....

Congrats to the Blackhawks. Any team but NY Rangers. Used to be a big Ranger fan growing up. Favorite player was Andy Bathgate. Now I just can't stand their fans. Especially the young ones. goes for Knick fans too. As a NY native find myself rooting again home teams more often than not. Exception is NY Giants. Class organization all the way.

Tampa was the highest scoring NHL team during the year, yet in the Finals, managed only 10 goals in 6 games - 2 in the last 3 games. All games were one score games, except Game 6. You can't win championships without production on offense.

Congratulations to Chicago on the Cup.

On a lighter note, I won a Futures bet, having taken Tampa and Chicago for the Stanley Cup finals at the beginning of the season at 60-1. $100 for $6k.
