AN early New Year's pledge

Since I recently p*ssed off Jimdeuces completely unintended by talking about the Trump casinos in AC and how Donald Trump literally RUINED the three casinos that bore his name, and in turn did much harm to Atlantic city itself, I am going to change tact starting January 1 of this year.....I had heretofore really like Jimdeuces and always enjoyed his post and had no idea he regarded my frequent posts as so utterly annoying......I regret having made him so angry. So I will no longer post political rants after the new year......the truth is I am just utterly frustrated with everything going on in this country and the world. and I am sick of the PARTISAN BS, the ignorant hypocrisy that has gripped ALL facets, peoples and parties of the government and political system.   EVERYONE is mean, unreasonable and unwilling to compromise.   The Republicans want to simply make the filthy rich filthier, while the democrats want to make the world safe for abortion and LGBT rights.....pathetic.But enough.....Im tuning it out as of the new year.   The lack of response from anyone else has something to do with it too.....no one else felt strong enough to make cogent realistic factual arguments to many of the points I raised.....the last person to do so was good ol' notes1   but he often would site dubious or nonexistent sources (or post flat out nonsequiturs) and eventually grew frustrated too ( I imagine with trying to defend that which is indefensible, namely the Republican party since last November, 2016!)Oh well.....Im serious folks.....NOT even in the appropriate section for this stuff. the EVERYTHING and ANYTHING section, will I post political "Footballs" anymore after the new year......

that doesnt even make sense in the context of this forum and what I posted.....this forum is NOT someone's front lawn, nor are my posts the same as a vehicle.   I did not HAVE to make such a pledge, but since the vast VAST majority of the people seem to NOT want ANY subject of substance discussed other than simple written "High FIves and Well dones" regarding someone's latest report (true or otherwise) of some sort of Video Poker success, I decided to cease posting WHAT I want and what I am entitled to post.....for the sake of peace and harmony.I just gave myself until the end of the year to get used to it and to get in any last gasp, important rants.

You're doing the right thing by giving yourself some time imo, DaBurglar. Nothing changes over night.

UM, er......ok thanks.....Your FIRST post here and you select this thread, and  ME, to talk about......C'mon who are you really?  Clearly you are an alternate account for an existing poster.   I thought that was against the rules?Even though I have been accused in the past of posting under multiple account names, I never have (and I never will)......
