It was a sad day April 6 here in Canada. A bus carrying a hockey team going to a playoff game was t-boned by a transport truck. It was an unbelievable site that devastated a town, a province, and a country.

Most of these boys were in there late teens. 15 died and 14 were injured. They played the small town of Humboldt Saskatchewan, but players were from all over.

A gofundme was started and already is over 2 million as it has touched every ones heart.

Just a terrible tragedy.

What a horrible story. Nine kids from my town were killed in a van accident in 1982 and the village took years to fully recover. This is a bit different as some of the dead aren't actually from the town, but what a devastating body blow to the community.
Whenever I hear a story like this, it takes me back to that horrible day. Words simply can't express the grief I felt and feel.

Such a tragic accident. So very sorry for the family and friends who've lost loved ones. Also, sorry for your pain Bill, that is very sad.

Bill, I remember that accident at a grade crossing on the LIRR in Mineola. Tragic, just like this accident in Canada
