My player card benefits were "suppressed" at a local casino - I still go there because I like their VP, seats are comfy and my spouse still gets his perks. I went from a high level guest to non existent when scanning my card at the kiosk. I think I still acquire minimal cash back for points when I play, but not much. I am not sure if I should use my players card or not - Do I want them to know I am visiting? I tried contacted casino hosts - they all say there is no way to get back on the "A" list once your benefits have been suppressed. Should I even bother using a players card?

Use your spouses card and help him to get even higher comps. Often if you quit using your card for a few months most casinos will start giving you some enticing offers. Hosts often offer erroneous information.

Is it "legal" for someone to have 2 cards going at the same time?

Depends on the casino. Most casinos don’t have a problem. They are just glad you are gambling in their casinos. My wife and I only use one card every where we go to keep Our daily Theo high. Theo is what casinos use to find out what you are worth to them by tracking your daily average money spent in their casino. The higher your Theo the more comps you get.

So by playing on one card your average will be higher if you only use one card. My wife and I each have players cards but some days we use hers and some days we use mine.

We have gambled over 25 years and never had a problem using a partners card. Say when I get a hand pay and I am using my wife’s card I just take her card out and insert mine.

The machine records the card in use and a person doing a hand pay knows it even if you have pulled it.
I play my wife's card quite often but usually only on quarters.
But i have had three hand pays on her card. Only once did the payer say they had to "check with a
supervisor". Approval happened but the inference was there that it was at their discretion.
I have heard stories of pay's denied but have never seen one

If you win a jackpot the casino MUST pay you. They can't hold the money as it belongs to you. They could remove any player points or rewards but they never would.

I agree.

My home casino is indian owned. There players club rules and reg's consider using a card other than your own as "FRAUD". Maybe it's a sovereign nation thing i don't know.
Anyone with first hand knowledge of Nevada or AC policies that signify "must" ?
Or anyone with first hand knowledge of a refusal to pay?
As i stated my experience has been ok.
