Bally's AC Host?

Post by paco13 »

Our Host at Bally's retired shortly after the company change. He treated us very well. We are not happy with the new host. Pretty much might as well not have one at all. Was wondering if anyone here has a host from Bally's and could recommend them. Want to see if I can request a host change. I am a red card holder. I am a little surprised no one from Bally's has reached out to see why our level of play has dropped off significantly or sent us a host relations survey like Caesar's does every now and then. Has anyone else seen a change for the worse in their experience since the company change?

Thank you

I wouldn't be so quick to condemn the new host- it probably has more to do with the new ownership and their player reward/retention strategy. Your best move is to continue with minimal play and hope it is addressed. If not, try another CET/Eldorado venue. Or: I hear Borgata has the best player rewards program.

I'll give it a little more wait and see. The issues we had weren't really reward/retention related issues. Bally's AC is no longer part of CET. My old host was from the CET days. He along with other employees stayed with Bally's after the sale. He was pretty excited about the new company and the investments and changes they were making. Gave no inclination he was retiring any time soon last I was there talking to him. Then suddenly a couple weeks later he was gone. CET still treats me ok but now my host from Caesar's is out on extended leave so I'll have to connect with someone else there too. I like the Borgata but haven't been there in a few years. My wife only likes to stay on the boardwalk.
Thanks for the reply.

Free plays are no longer able to be downloaded to VP machines.

Yes, you have to swipe at a kiosk first. Then I seem to sit at the games where the players touch screen doesn't work so you can't DL the FP. They also removed a lot of the VP .

A printed label under the card slot says something like bonus play cannot be used. And yes many VP machines are gone or in the process of being moved.
