I have the same thing happen on a 100 play machine or other machine several times. This time it was on a 25ยข denomination for a cool $125/hand. I immediately hit the service light and waited until a slot attendant came. I explained the situation (i had been increasing the number of hands by using the "1" button). The slot attendant called the slot supervisor and they reimbursed my money immediately and I didn't have to play the hand. Usually if its a lower denomination I just chastise myself for not being more careful. Of course if it dealt 3 deuces, 3 aces, a royal I'd probably not say a thing.FloridaPhil wrote: โFri Aug 02, 2019 6:45 amThe max coin button is not always five coins. This has tripped me up on numerous occasions. Once in an Indian (native) casino, I was playing single coin dollars. I put in a $100 bill. I had a run up and hit the max coin button. The machine played 100 coins!! I had no choice but to play the whole thing. Luckily I hit a straight. When you run into that situation, I hit the coin button five times.
Using the max coin button on every hand is annoying to the players around you. Be courteous and use the deal button.
I am more inclined to think that either they don't know they need hit that max play button just the once, or, they like the noise. I have yet to drum up the courage to ask such a player which it is.
