You sure that's a law? I've never noticed it on the books. But generally it's followed in practice. Also shocked SP had this. I thought they stopped getting new gimmick games years ago. Paytables there?rsactuary wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 9:28 amI played this at South Point and quite liked it. Yes, the Nevada gaming laws say that an extra feature must keep total return the same or better than just the typical VP return, so something is amiss in the numbers above. Clearly the wheels are weighted in some way.
Actually the hot roll game returns exactly same as betting 5 credits. Just 0.00% more.Vman96 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 9:52 pmYeah, I did the math on this months ago for my own knowledge. Was highly disappointed at the return not being boosted by even 0.01%.

Yeah, that made me mad too when I saw that on the media sheet. They could have easily chose the odds to trigger a dice roll something like 1 in 5.95, which would add 0.42% to a 100% base return game.hophoofer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 11:44 pmActually the hot roll game returns exactly same as betting 5 credits. I checked out the ones here last night. 9/6 TDB was the highest payback.Vman96 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 2:39 pmYeah, that made me mad too when I saw that on the media sheet. Good paytables? Meh. I think Cosmo might have 9/6 TDB. I'll try to check in a few weeks. What is nice is it seems the few nickel games i've found offer 8/5 Bonus Deluxe which isn't awful for nickels. But if South Point has it, it's really likely the paytable is good. I'll also try to check that. Lol
