Casino Take

Post by MrRobert »

Have you noticed that to find a full pay Jacks or Better or Bonus Poker is almost impossible and if there is they require much more play to get the same credits for ratings. When they used to have people to fill the machines and you used coins and then had to take them to the cashier all the machines were full odds. Now all the people are gone and you get a ticket but so many machines they take 10 off the payback either in the FLUSH or Full House so your getting less for a much faster game.
To over come this try playing slower pretending your putting those coins in the machine and slow your play down else you'll go thru your money much quicker for much less. But its still fun.

The lowering of payoffs is happening on many casino games. 6:5 instead of 3:2 (mainly on lower limits) blackjack is one of the more notorious changes.

If you owned a business and saw that people kept playing your games after you reduced their paybacks, why would you offer better ones?
The problem is most people don't know better, and many of the ones who know better are simply addicted and have to play.

Agree BR. VP players are hung on the horns of a dilemma.
If there were no bad players VP would slowly lose space to slots worse than now.
On the other hand,as you point out,the casino can downgrade the pay tables and enough suckers still show up. Casino's 2 players 0.

Everything said here is true --- and there are still positive opportunities out there.

If you search until you find something good, and don't play unless and until you do, you'll be fine. If you are unable to find good games, and/or unable to resist playing bad ones, you'll be a losing player.
