Ultimate X Pay Tables

Post by Austin Phil »

Anyone know where I might find the pay tables for Ultimate X at any casino in Las Vegas? VpFREE2 doesn't seem to have them. Thx

VpFREE2 does have some listings, but the search confuses me. You have to filter for "option" Ultimate X, and also specify a game type. But if you input "Bonus" -- it will include most of the popular variants such as DDB and TDB. Also, UX games are listed at base payback only.

On the list, I see 8/5 BP at Palms (single-line, 50c+, one machine). Also 9/7/5 DB and 9/6 DDB, same machine. South Point has 9/6 DDB multi-line, 25c.

7/5 BP is at Strat, Harrah's & Caesars Palace.

I can't help much from personal experience because I haven't scouted very carefully for the game. Any place with otherwise good games is a possibility. That could include Boyds or Stations, and Brooks-owned casinos in downtown Henderson: Emerald Island and Rainbow Club.

I couldn't get it to list anything. Clearly I'm doing something wrong. As far as the EV goes, are any above 98%?

EV varies by number of lines. Best research source is probably Wizard of Odds. This site has info, but some of it is paywalled.

For example, 7/5 BP has an EV of 99.28 at 3-play, 99.34 at 5-play, and 99.40 at 10-play. Source is the Wizard, and that's assuming standard multipliers. I don't know for sure that the multipliers are always standard.

Ultimate X single line is indicated at only 98.09% for 7/5 BP. That's because the single line game has inferior next hand multipliers -- only 10x for a flush (instead of 11), and 7x for a straight (instead of 8).

I assume you know the strategy is different for UX than for a standard 5-coin bet. It's heavier on flush and straight draws because of the big next hand multipliers earned on those outcomes.

I don't know anything about your preferences, but if you're a DDB player as seems to be the norm, you may be able to find the 9/5 pay schedule for low stakes -- pennies or nickels. EV ranges from 98.36% for 3 lines to 98.49% for 10. If you can afford the South Point quarter game, the 9/6 3-play schedule = 99.726 according to Wizard.

I just searched vpFREE2 for 7/5 BP Ultimate X and found six casinos. And six more have UX with pNSU 98.91% Deuces Wild. Also found five casinos with 9/6 DDB UX.

I don't think we can just search for all UX machines. We must select the paytable first, then the UX option.

There's a bracketed link which toggles between the two types of searches. It's labeled: "Search by Name, EV, Denom, Options." I toggled to the Search "By Name and EV" because it seems to allow for a broader range of results if you enter a very generic name such as "Bonus".

Incidentally, you may get different capabilities if you log in, but I don't see any enhancement of the search.

Thanks, Dinghy. I just did that by entering "Bonus" and "98" for the minimum % then filtered by selecting "Ultimate X". That brought up a lot more UX listings.
