Illinois: lawmaker who is 0 for 3 past 3 years recently submitted another bill for year 4. Like previous years biggest obstacles are restaurants, stores and bars who have slots and are afraid of losing business to online casinos. Their argument is obviously invalid for table game players and mostly invalid for video poker; for example many restaurants near me have slots but only one has VP that pays 4k credits for royal at 25c denom (only denom available).
