We just got back from a great trip to Vegas.  We found The Dream card video poker game in the Orleans and the Red Rock Casino.   I didn't have any luck with that particular game.  The gambling on the strip seemed especially "tight".  (Specifically Bellagio, Harrahs, Wynn).  We did much better at the off strip places, especially Sams and Red Rock.   Didn't get rich, but had big fun.  Can't wait to go back!  Merry Christmas to all!

Played Dream Card VP last night at Red Rock. Too bad that was the last night of my trip and I did not visit Red Rock earlier, so I only played for a few hours. I found a bank of 4 dream card machines (there could be more elsewhere in the casino), two of which were spin poker. The game I played had 3-5-10 play options with the typical variety: deuces, TDB, DDB, etc. I found the game to be fun on deuces and DDB. The dream card comes out appr 58% of the time on deuces making for some strong deals, although the return table was low (20-12-10). I played mostly DDB with a very strong (for a carnival game) 9/6 pay table. Although on DDB the dream card does not come out as often (appr 31%), I was dealt quads with the dream card's help several times including aces once and drew countless quads as well. I have not investigated the expected return on this game yet, but with a 9/6 pay table on DDB I believe this to be a very strong game. No one else played at this dream card bank while I was there appr 4 hours (on a Sat eve) so obviously the locals think of this as just a passing carnival vp game. I predict this game to be as popular as supertimes pay in the future. My results were quite favorable last night and I'll post some pictures when time permits.

Damule, are you excited about this new game because you won or is it really an up and comer like you say? i would expect th locals to be all over it. What denoomination did you see it in?

Our local casino will be receiving 2 each Dream Card, Ultimate X, and Good Times Pay within the next two weeks.   WE are so excited to have them brought in since we were able to play them at Red Rock on our past trip. While Ms. L. prefers Ultimate X and Good Times Pay, I prefer Dream Card. We practice them frequently here at VP to get a true feel for its play. For me in part I love Dream Card because it creates an opportunity to use a different strategy of VP play. By manipulating the Dream Card one can alter the possible payouts.

     Played alot of Ultimate X on this trip as well and the results were mixed. Had gotten way up at the beginning with some monster hits, but as time went on the variance had it's way with me, lol.

     As far as my results on Dreamcard, I would say look at Dancer's column or wizardofodds.com's recent article about the game. You'll see that DDB at 9/6 returns over 99% and my experience seemed to have yielded a much lower variance than other VP carnival games such as Ultimate X and Supertimes Pay. Also the game started at 25-cent 3-play.

They need to fix the Dream Card Triple Bonus Poker on this site. When dealt a J or Q with a 2, 3 or 4 a "dream card" will pair the J or Q instead of the low card. In Triple Bonus Poker JJ or QQ does not return your bet and four 2s, 3s or 4s return more than four Js or Qs so the "dream card" should pair the low card.

A pair of any two high cards won't return the bet b/c they only pay 5 credits and you are betting 30 credits if you are paying triple pay. You still lose 15 credits.
