Double Pay Poker

The last couple of days I have tried playing .25 Double Pay TDB 8/5. The first day had moderate success, today not so much. I was just wondering if anyone plays this regularly and if they have had any success. The 60000 coin win for a dealt royal is very enticing albeit not likely.

Keep trying because you never know. Ive had one royal flush dealt and you can have it happen too! But oh no I forgot something. Isnt an 8/5 game expected to make you lose all your money anyway, even if you get that dealt royal?

I've had a dealt royal also on this game, but I usually play DW since it has made more $$$ for me.

I had the dealt royal playing double pay nickels spinpoker, I think I was playing deuces.

Tony I hit the magical dealt royal for 60,000 at .25 denomination at Harrahs Joliet, IL in September 2002. To say the least, it was VERY cool.

Great hit, Ted! TDB is currently my fave game. I hit a royal at ODAWA (Petoskey, MI) the first time I played TDB in a casino, on a multi play. Also, at Joliet in Chicago. single play. However, hitting AWAKS on TDB is my forte, same pay as a royal. This happened at Joliet for $6K on two hits playing .50 and $. Dealt aces at Greektown on five play and three awaks connected. All TDB. Sadly, TDB is not available at all casinos! I maintain one could lose a house playing for a dealt royal! I was dealt royals twice on three play at Palms and we still have the house! Try as I might, I realize I may never see another dealt royal in this life time!

Wow, great responses, thanks everybody!! I will continue to dabble and see how it goes. Maybe give deuces a try next time down.
Backsider, unfortunetly 8/5 is the best there is on almost all .25 VP here in Detroit, with the exception of DB. Need a few more big wins to bump it up to the next level!!
