Random thoughts on VP games

I spent the week in AC, Aug 17 thru Aug 25, something I never do in the summer but this years airshow beckoned as well as a friend who was stuck in Atlanticare Hospital for a few days and needed a visitor. I had the most volatile yet wild time up and down the boardwalk, here are my thoughts: -- Multihand versions of Quickquads and Dreamcard stink, whereas single line versions of both these games rule!   The multihand versions just suck way too much juice from the bankroll, such that unless you hit something big pretty early you are doomed to play catch up the whole session, or worse, sink faster than the Titanic's Anchor.   The single line versions of these games, while not exactly child's play either from a bankroll standpoint, do offer more of a chance to enjoy the FUN aspect of each game, because that is what this is all about right?  F U N ?? -- I decided to test the Quickquads single line game at Caesars AC by playing only 5 credits, thus not getting the quickquad benefit but still getting the Paytable advatage of increased 4 of a kind payout.  In 90 minutes of play, after about 650 hands, i did not hit a single stinkin natural Quad on the machine I chose at Caesars, BUT i did catch a Royal at the end and cashed out mumbling something rigged machines but smiling like the cat that ate the canary all the same.......do you know how weird that looked?  The Quickquads gamescreen, with me only betting 5 credits instead of 6, and a Royal Flush flashing on the screen (I drew one card, the Ten of hearts to make my Royal)....surreal...even more so when I noticed that I wasnt getting the increased four of a kind payout I thought I was due to the screen being really funky and blurry, and me not knowing my QUickQuads just yet cuz I never played it before.....weird -- After hitting that Royal on the Quickquad game on machine #1 in the bank of four Fivestar machines in Caesars, I scooted down to Machine #4 and startd playing a little Dreamcard (25 cent).....30 minutes in, playing TDB I caught four aces and a four (on a draw, with NO dreamcard) for another 4000 credits, then, exactly 11 minutes later, hit four deuces with a three (again, on a draw with NO dreamcard) for one last splash of 2000 credits. Now folks, I am the biggest skeptic out here who still ultimately chooses to believe enough in VP integrity and the casinos not totally screwing us over, but these three hits all bunched together in this bank of bloodsucking machines only serve to heighten (not diminish) my skepticism.   I hit this Royal, this 4AWAK, and the four 2sWAK on these "specialty" games all without (WITHOUT) the benefit of the stinkin "specialty" they offer in the first place.....Now maybe you see why I dislike the multihand versions of this game. But thats just me....truth is, that bank of machines at Caesars AC has gulped a lot of my friends money as well as my own, so its just a little payback here as far as I am concerned.
