I like it because it has more opportunities to turn a bad hand into a winning hand. The casinos will never put a 100 play on their floors because slot personnel would be constantly running back and forth to pay off small jackpots.

It's my favorite game --- for a given return.South Point has 99.55% Bonus Poker Quick Quads from quarter Triple Play to dollar Ten Play. Those are a lot more fun to play than 9/6 Jacks or Better (99.54%). If a 99.7% game were available for the same denomination but wasn't so much fun, I'd play the higher-returning game. If a promotion were available where it made quite a bit more money to play a single line game for higher stakes (say $25 single line for $125 per rather than $1 Ten Play for $60 per), I'd go with the higher EV per hour.I have never played a video poker game in my life because it was relaxing. Or it was enjoyable to play while drinking free booze.Every game I play I'm attempting to play perfect computer strategy. This requires quite a bit of study and memorization beforehand and when at the machine itself, a level of concentration. Short conversations while at the machine are fine, and I often stop playing while talking (or try to save my discussion to downtime while waiting to be paid for a W2G.) To me, a casino is a work environment and I treat it as such. It is NOT a place I go for social interaction. Is it hard work? YesDo I enjoy it? AbsolutelyIs it relaxing? Not at allDoes it give me an advantage over others who play it more casually? Of course.

the best part (for me) is the fact that almost everyone I have watched play it in AC has absolutely NO clue at all about the proper hold strategy. NONE ZERO ZIP NO CLUE WHATSOEVERGranted, in AC there are precious few actual quick quad games to avail oneself, the majority are at Harrahs, which actually has at least four (4) 100-play QQ machines, along with a couple single line QQ games (1 dollar and up though) on 5 star machines. The TAJ has a single 3-5-10 line QQ machine of .25 .50 1.00Resorts recently added one (1) 5 star machine with single line QQ .25 .50 1.00 2.00I am not certain if Borgata has any QQ offerings, but Golden Nugget, Tropicana, Caesars and Ballys are currently Quick Quad free zones (none to speak of).....The few people (four that I recall) I have tried to counsel on playing QQ simply cannot grasp the need to hold four cards when dealt a 3 of a kind, when that fourth card is a component (i.e. a lesser value of) the three of a kind being held......example:Dealt 7 7 7 K 5 They simply flake when you explain why holding the "5" in QQ is the good play and tossing the 5 and the K together is the sH*tty play. Oh well.....like I said once before, the USA is way behind the rest of the world in MATH, including, it would seem, 2nd Grade math (which is really all that is required to grasp friggin Quick Quads)

QQ is my alltime favorite. But, it no longer exists in my area. I might have been the only person who played it regularly. I saw a bunch of people sit down say WTH and walk away.
The other day I saw "Fast Fours" - similar to QQ but only a 5 coin bet (but reduced payouts for 5-k and 3oak) and jack through king can be used to make a Fast Four quad.

Say you hold three 6s and are dealt two 3s.
Quick quads or a full house, or both?
