has anyone won a contest and if so how did they pay you or give you prize and how long did it take?

Yes. By cheque. Two to three weeks.

I came in 2nd on the monthly about 100 years ago and got a Visa gift card, t-shirt and some other items.

I came in first quite some time ago and it was also by Visa gift card. Delivered very quickly.

I managed to score 2nd on a weekly contest once, I got a $100 Visa gift card, a VP.com shirt and ball cap, and the achievement on my trophy board.

That certainly seems correct to me. As I stated in my previous post, my contest wins were paid by cheque.

Both were just last year, one in August, the other in October.

Yes, we switched to checks (instead of Gift Cards) about 6 months ago. When you win a contest that requires a check to be mailed, you will receive a message in your INBOX (at the top of the site) asking you to confirm your mailing address.Once you have confirmed your address, your check should arrive within 2 weeks (often sooner).iPad winners and Tournament of Champions winners are contacted by email, as we may require additional information for delivery.
