Congrats to all that posted! Today I got a royal after discarding my original 5 cards dealt. I have played for the last twenty years and have never personally seen this. Thanks for the thread...good luck

Yeah, that happened to me just before Xmas. The redraw Royal. I was both astounded and immediately depressed. It was a two coin hand.

Yeah, that logic works for all lesser hands. RF short coin is the ultimate disastrous play.
