As far as picking posts apart, it's quite simple. Don't post anything that can get picked apart and questioned by other forum participants. Then don't complain when questions are asked about your posts. Be accurate and factual in what you post and don't rehash the same points over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
In other words, "tow the line". The problem is I don't agree with the experts and can't sit in front of my computer quietly and ignore what I believe.

I believe there is value in what the experts have to say about playing the best VP games using computer generated hand plays and comps. This allows players to keep more of their money. I do not believe any strategy can guarantee to beat the casino long term.

Video poker is gambling. Personally, I would not entertain the idea of building a business on the promise that someone could beat a casino with my or anyone's strategy. Telling someone to play bigger to gain better odds helps casinos more than it helps players.

As far as expert VP strategy is concerned, I believe they have it right in their calculators. Unfortunately, I don't play VP on a calculator, I play in a casino and my casino isn't full of VP millionaires.

If I deleted this website from my favorites and forgot I ever posted here, I'm sure that would make the experts and some members happy. The true believers could go about the business of telling each other how much they win and no one would question anything. Unfortunately, that wouldn't change anyone's results. The truth is the only way to beat the casino is to own one. The next best thing is to get casinos and players to pay you money to say what they want to hear.

I have been a paid consultant for nearly 30 years. I have worked with large corporations and small family owned businesses. I sometimes have to tell people things I don't enjoy telling them. When I do, they don't like what I have to say. On occasion a client will call me later and thank me for telling them the truth. After I'm gone from this website, remember what I've told you. It may save you a lot of money and pain.

And then, you go on to say: I believe there is value in what they have to say,, and later, they have it right in their calculators.

Colour me confused.

No, onemoretry (though I chuckled out loud when reading your comment). Based on what Ted is referring to, in the interest of being concise, I think Ted may have underemphasized his description of past performance. But who knows? With the new year, maybe things will be different. I'm seeing some evidence of positive change and hope it continues (or that I don't simply need a new prescription for my spectacles). ;) :geek:
