2/9 Golden Nugget LC quick trip

Sweet C and I after multiple conversations decided to run over Saturday night. Packed as we called our host. No rooms available at late notice due to huge concert and Lauberge du lac feeling the effects of a norovirus outbreak. Sunday late we decided late to take a small bankroll and drive 2 hours to go play the weekly free play, eat and come back that night. My free play (slots only allowed) gave us back $200 to double our bankroll to $400. My first hundred began slow but I plugged away (playing Bonus is like watching paint dry but the best option at GNLC) and caught a royal on 10¢ on a 3RF hold (10 hands at 5:54), increased the number of hands then added a dealt quad 6's (6:12); cashed out and put back the bankroll, and moved to 25¢ hands starting with small number and working up as play and my timing got better. Finally, at 7:49 the quad deuces were dealt. We played another hour up and mostly down and drove home in time for bedtime.
