best day ever at VP

Post by Carcounter »

Not much VP talk anymore with casinos closed down. Remember my best day. not my most profitable as I have hit 3 8k top line royals on Multi Strike, but my luckiest. When down to Ballys AC with a modest $ 400 bankroll and figured it would last a while on the .25 Bonus Poker Triple plays that had a progressive jackpot on each line. Half hour in I hit a royal on the second line for $1180. Nice, no WG-2. Now have approx $1,500 and figure let's go over to the Borgata for some $1.00 9/6 JOB. After a few minutes, hit a 4k royal. Still only 2 o'clock in the afternoon and I dont have to leave till 5. Have about $250 in credit left in the machine and switch to 1.00 DDB. get dealt 4 aces and a ten. Toss the ten and draw a four. 2k hand pay. keep going and hit 4 aces no kicker again for $ 800. Go home with $7,800.

I have had many "best days" playing VP. I have told the story of my four single line royal day numerous times. What I haven't said much about was the many times I hit a $1,000 jackpot at the end of the day. I much prefer $1,000 jackpots as there is no W2-G. I always save $30-50 at the end of each day to take a pot shot on the dollar machines. If I hit win anything over $100 I cash out and go home. This has saved me more times than I can remember.

I believe you have mentioned this a few times.

Probably so. There's not much I haven't said on this forum. Want to talk about bass fishing?

No thanks. I am determined to follow your end of day formula if I survive the End of Days.

18 years ago I went deer hunting in South Mississippi and almost got killed by a boar.

I remember The Linq as: The Quad and also Imperial Palace, next door to O'Sheas. O'Sheas was once home to the 75 cent Heineken.
