That is one of the greatest hits you can have. I played this gameand think about it

I've never seen it. I wondered how many times it's ever even happened on earth. probably just a few.
There is a player that posts on "The Wizard of Vegas" forum that used to play this game frequently in Atlantic City and got dealt the 20XRoyal on 3 play dollars for $240k. Other than that I'm not familiar with anyone else ever getting it or posting about it. If you google Double Supertimes Royal Flush you'll find the video on the $240k jackpot.

I've seen one hit live here at MGM Detroit. Lady playing triple play quarters but only 2 of the hands and got it. Didn't see the game type, but knowing MGM, it was probably a lousy pay table as well. She was happy with her $40k hit though.

The hit that most of us only dream of. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Dream of?

I would find it a nightmare.

The game is 8/5 DDB (about 96.6% in the regular version --- add a half percent to that for the Double Super Times Pay version.) Nobody with a clue about the winning process would be caught dead playing that machine.

And then to find it posted on the Internet and everybody find out I didn't have a clue?

Truly a nightmare.
What is wrong with you? Are you kidding me with this post? You are about as classless as they come. Well done man.

Bob is just classless right now, until he starts offering them again at South Point.

Several of you have objected to my post.

Please note it was not directed at the original poster. It was directed at Eduardo's comment that it was a hit to dream of.

My response was that I would find it a nightmare. I was referring to me, not you. And I explained why. I'm somebody who knows the difference between good pay schedules and bad ones and wouldn't be caught dead playing this game. If I screwed up my medications and somehow had this experience on this machine (that's two hypotheticals happening back to back, both extremely unlike) I absolutely would not post it out of utter embarrassment.

I said absolutely nothing about any of you, other than a person playing such a game isn't knowledgeable about the winning process. Surely you can't seriously be arguing that point. You can say she was extremely once-in-several-lifetimes lucky, which is true, but you cannot say it was an intelligent calculated play on her part. those of you who've read my posts know that I'm always attempting to make intelligent, calculated plays.

You can yell at me or call me names if you like --- so long as you don't cross whatever lines Webman has drawn. It kind of goes with the territory around here sometimes. But if you read the post again you'll see it was talking about me --- not you. I certainly was not talking about the original poster.

For what it's worth Mr Dancer, I wouldn't think any less of you if you DID play this game and posted a picture of it, win or lose. I assume you have built up enough positive play over the years that 15 minutes on this game (or maybe even 15 weeks) would not reduce your overall play to be a negative expectation. You would still be among the most intelligent and respected players in my estimation. Your play on the game could simply be a calculated risk. Or a diversion for (forgive me for saying the word...) fun.

I mean... if you spend a year playing games with a 1% advantage, and 15 minutes on a negative game, that only brings down your overall expected return by a fraction of a percent. Which probably isn't much different than if you had only found +0.99% opportunities throughout the year instead of +1.00%. Not the end of the world.

I understand this doesn't fly with your playing philosophy and that you want to make the most of every opportunity, so it may never happen. But don't lose any sleep over it if it does.

Bob, if you truly think that what you wrote above was NOT a condescending slam against the original poster then may I suggest you pick up a book on manners and courtesy. There are several good ones out there for you to choose from. Put it on your nightstand and read a few pages each night before bed and maybe your nightmares will soon be replaced by pleasant dreams.

Yeah, pretty bad.

I'll clarify my response above. When I say Mr Dancer is one of the vp players I respect, it is on account of his teaching and discipline. NOT his bedside manner.

I'm able to overlook the apparently unknowing rudeness. But I'm not easily angered by anyone on the internet. I think most people here I would get along with just fine in life. Words on a message board are easily blown out of proportion.

pattih;

I want to congratulate you again for the fantastic hit, one that 99.7% of us here are in true awe. As for Bob D., please do not let his words take away any of the glow you have because there are 200,000 George Washington's in your bank account who have your back.

That's my whole point. It's NOT a calculated risk. My calculations show me it is a terrible gamble.

Could I afford to play it for year or five? Of course. I would never consider playing a game where I couldn't be a long term winner fun. I understand some people play for fun. I'm not one of them, except to say that I find beating the casino to be fun.

I've averaged more than 1000 hours of play a year for the past 26 years. Playing as a hoot just isn't in the cards. It's certainly more play than most of you. Perhaps a few people here have played more. But not many. In that time period I've had four losing years and 22 positive years.

Whether some of you think my bedside manner is lacking or not (you certainly wouldn't be alone in those thoughts), I believe that my presence on this forum has made many of you better players. Many of you understand that you will not be a long term winning player unless you insist on only playing games where you have the advantage. Some of you didn't know that basic fact of gambling until I mentioned it time and time again.

Some of you have concluded that you don't know how to find the advantage, and some of you insist incorrectly that there are no positive games to be found outside of Vegas, and some of you accept that you're going to lose and enjoy the game anyway. All fine. But some have been inspired to be better players due to my comments --- even the ones that come with a bedside manner you don't admire.
