$400 can get you back and let you risk another $1500. Casino is already a winner.

But good luck on your trip!

The fact that you were lucky on one particular trip is totally irrelevant. Your luck on one occasion will be different than your luck next time. All players experience good luck occasionally and bad luck more than occasionally. It has nothing to do with your long term results. Going forward, pay attention to pay schedules, practice, and hope for the best

That I do understand. I went with $1400 last time and left with $4500 so I'm playing with house money. I am not taking all of my winnings. I take $1500 and that is my limit, no atm card and no credit card with a limit other than the room charges. I was just looking for some advice from veteran video poker players since I have fallen in love with the game versus the beating I used to take playing just slots. I have an unbelievable room, seems like a great host that reached out to me, looking to try restaurants this time, and a chance to try out new games that my local won't update to. Thank you for your advice and good luck wishes.

This thinking in my opinion, is wrong. You are not playing with "house money," you are playing with YOUR money. Say you took your previous winnings and bought a television or a refrigerator. Does the television or refrigerator belong to YOU or belong to "the house?"

I have heard players say this over the years and once you win the money, it is YOURS and no longer "house money."

If you lose any money over what the freeplay is, you are losing YOUR money.

My sentiments exactly! I was thinking of posting something similar to yours, but now I don't need to. Thank you.

Me personally, would use it on vulturable slots or VP games. Since I dont know what knowledge you have on that subject, stick to Bob's advice.

I am just looking for recommendations on what to do with free play and the best way to roll it into cash. I am taking out of it that I should look very closely at payables. Once I play thru it I am combining it with my original bankroll to play other new games that I don't have access to at my local. I am driving 7 hours to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. I looked at VPFREE2.COM to find what games there have the best pay tables. Any other sites that list them per casino?? Most of the newer VP games are multi handed or you have to risk more than a 5 credit max. I am also taking out of the replies I need to figure out the math on my bankroll size, how long I want to play per session, and the correct denomination based on my bankroll. I have a few weeks to put a game plan together. Thanks again for the help all.

I play VP now 95% of the time. If I win then I take a part and mess around with some slots that look interesting. I am not sure what vulturable slots are?
