MGM Detroit opened to the general public at 10am this morning. I stopped in just before 8pm to check things out. I only walked around the VP area but basically one out of every 3 machines turned on. With a gap of 2 off machines between the on one. I didn't notice any difference in games that were there before the closure and points were still earned at 1 per $8 coin in. I decided to try and donate a few bills in a lousy 6/5 DSTP BP, but after about an hour, it decided to spit up this.
I had to split by 10pm, so that was my last hand of the night. Overall due to nothing good being open, I won't be back until they're 100% operational.
Short MGM Detroit visit tonight

Thanks.
And I forgot to mention that it being non smoking made it that much nicer. Definitely noticed the difference.

I am glad you hit that. Seems unfair that casinos have 6-5 machines but there seems to be more and more of them. I think the DSTP bumps the pay tables a little.

Detroit in the neighborhoods and Detroit downtown are 2 different worlds. Weekends downtown are bustling. Lots of bars and restaurants and plenty of outdoor seating at most of them.

It does but not enough to make it a good play. For regular STP there, BP is 7/5. I believe the best overall game they have there is a single line $1 DDB at one of the bars which is closed off at this time.seemoreroyals wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 4:30 amI am glad you hit that. I know that game blows and wouldn't sit at it all day. But my plan was to donate a few bills. They ended up donating to me. As said, I'll wait until everything is back to normal to go back when the good stuff is turned back on.

Jstark, enjoy your casino vacation. Things won't be back to normal until next year, hopefully.

Jstark,
The key is enjoying the entertainment. FYI: To me a straight flush in any game other than with a wild card is about the same frequency as a RF. Nice hit.
